Update for anyone might care. cc: Jimmy Jamm. Went and faxed the denial for the redetermination papers to the social security lawyer that we hired five years ago. Luckily he's still in business. *knock on wood* He's not a young guy so the main concern was that he retired or something medical happened. I'm still hoping that we won't need him. The dream is that whoever got the re determination application this time will approve it. We will know in about two to three months whether we will have to do a hearing again or not. At any rate, he said he'd put the papers on the back burner just in case we do need him. I still need to write the senators again, but I might wait and see if it goes to hearing level before I do that.
I'm up to walking just under 2 miles every night. It's not fast (25 min mile pace, 2 miles an hr) but still something.
Been feeling like crap lately, I had some difficulty with getting the extra clarinex. Even tho Cigna ended up sending the extra pills no problem I had to call a few times to get the order to go thru. Took a few weeks longer than it should have. Since then I've had a lot of post nasal drip of course due to summertime, hay fever, etc. coughing a lot. hard to sleep at night.
Went to go see the GP for a checkup and talked about the breathing and how it might be an infection. I like my gp she's good but this was one of those appts where she didn't want to give me the antibiotics I think I need. to her credit it's only been two weeks of coughing and feeling like crap and infections are more like three or four weeks to determine. so I might have to go see my allergist next week to get the sinus crap to go away. It was good that I got in to see the gp tho. I needed to update her on the social security debacle.
Last thing of note. We got a letter from our current landlord stating that he's upping our rent 200 bucks a month. Jim and I both agreed that that is well beyond a cost of living increase. So we will be looking for a new place this month. Hopefully we find some place decent. Jim has disliked our current apartment since we moved in two years ago.

Ok, Jimmy Jamm isn't reading his Facebook right now, but I'm going to tag him anyway since this concerns him too.
Anyway, back to the nightmare. I had to fill out a redetermination form for Social Security disability back in March. It wouldn't have been that bad, but they denied me again. urgh. I guess my letter about almost dying twice in the last three years and every other chronic issue I have wasn't enough. They "determined that I was qualified for a sedentary job". sigh. 🙁 I tried to tell them I'm not awake every day. I get sick easily. I've been lucky this past winter by not having any infections, but that's not usually the case. I still spontaneously cry some days because of what I blame as hormonal fluxes and residual shock from the year of the uterus debacle. I need that pill to live. I can't pay 12k for a pill. I don't have that kind of money. I am glad the lawyer we used last time is still in business, and I called him today *knock on wood*. I went to the Social Security, office last week to file for benefits while I appeal the decision. They said the paperwork will get sent to another person to see if they approve it before a hearing is needed. It should be ninety days before I hear back on it. If I am lucky we won't need the lawyer, and it will be approved in ninety days. I am preparing for the worst, tho. I'm not usually lucky. When I was at the social security office, the clerk started off by asking about my allergist/person I see if I get a sinus infection, dr ditto. He didn't ask about my oncologist or the comprehensive care study dr. until later, after a few questions. So I am just going to assume we will need a hearing since obviously this case is about allergies *massive sarcasm* *tears*. On another note, I walk to Rosehill Cemetery and back every night. Slowly, mind you, and then I check in on Foursquare. The last couple of times I've checked in on Foursquare, instead of putting a time next to the check-in, it's just said "the future" in small letters. I don't know what Foursquare is trying to tell me. I really hope it's not literal and that a tech company isn't foreshadowing my death because of this social security issue. I'm just going to write it off as my eyes are deceiving me type of thing.
