I purchased the HCCYENLAN Carnival Birthday Candles , Number 1 Candle Cake Decorations, Birthday Party Decorations, Family Prayer Candles, Banquet Celebration Party Supplies (Number 1) from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. This candle is not as thick, big, and blocky as the more traditional numbered candles you see in some of the stores. This candle is closer in style to the thinner, straighter candles that are made. The candle is about 2" high and like a half inch thick. The toothpick is another 2" high, so 4" in length if you count the toothpick too. This candle is multi-colored with yellow, purple, green, and red hues. When I looked at the listing, I was hoping that the candle would be just as brightly colored and have a sharp, clear pattern like the listing picture. The candle I received had the same pattern, but it had more muted colors and was a little bit less sharp and crisp with the design edges. The difference for me is fine, since there isn't that much expectation on one candle. Each color section looks like a portion of a mardi gras carnival theme. The candle sticks into the cake with a toothpick at the bottom. The wick is the standard type on the top. The number one itself is very clearly defined and looks like a one. It burns just fine. If you need a one candle that's in a mardi gras carnival theme, this candle would be a valid choice. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend this item to my family. amazon listing.
