I purchased the Radiance By Mist Shower Filter Head for Hard Water Improves Skin, Hair, and Nails - Large, High Output Filtered Shower Head with Filter Softens Water and Removes Chlorine and Heavy Metals, Matte Black from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. I didn't even realize that there were shower heads that were made with filters in them until I saw this listing the other day. I had dismissed the idea in my head because changing out a filter every several months sounded like an extra expense. However, my husband was very into the idea of filtering out our shower water so he convinced me that this shower head would be a good idea. I ended up choosing the matte black shower head over the silver since it seemed to me it wouldn't show hard water crud as badly. The shower head was very simple and easy to install and I am very hopeful that it will filter the water adequately with all the layers of filtration in it. We live in an old building where the pipes will eventually need to be replaced much sooner than later. The water comes out a light shade of orange if it's been sitting for any length of time. I haven't tested the shower head itself, but I am hoping that it filters the water effectively. With the water being as dirty as it is, I am anticipating that the filters won't last as long as they say they will in the listing. I would purchase this item again if needed and I would recommend this item to my family. amazon listing.
