I purchased the LOVEGRASS Wood Yarn Bowl, Knitting Yarn Bowl with Holes, Wooden Yarn Bowl for Crocheting & Knitting Hand Made from Amazon and it was delivered in a timely fashion. For what it is, this is would be a great bowl. It's a little smaller, but it still would hold a ball of yarn. The outside of the bowl is finished and has a nice pattern imprinted on it. I do have one small problem with it. The edges of the bowl are smooth all around the top but the swirl pattern where it holds the yarn is not smooth. It's like the designer of the bowl got 7/8ths of the way done sanding and didn't want to finish. The objective of the bowl is to hold the yarn and if the area where the yarn comes out is rough and not sanded down completely, then the yarn could get snagged. I could sand it down myself, but who wants to do that? I probably wouldn't purchase this item again and I wouldn't recommend it to my family just because of the defect. However, it still is a nice bowl and if you can find a workaround for the unsanded part then it's fine. amazon listing.
